With America’s real estate market in the toilet, there’s never been a better time to invest in property.
GTA5 Manual
13 of the 25 properties are designated to specific characters and can only be purchased by them. The remaining 12 can be decided by you, the player. Our guide suggests which properties we think best suit which characters, based on their personality and interests.
Some property chains, such as the helipads, hangers and marina slips, are available to purchase in multiple locations, meaning more than one character can own one of these. There are also a few properties that are obtained during the storyline, that do not require purchasing, which we’ve left out.
To purchase a property just walk up to the for sale sign outside and an option to purchase will appear. You can also purchase properties via the Internet on your mobile phone.
You’ll have limited funds to spend on properties until you start completing some of the heists in the main storyline.
